The 69th PA Irish Volunteers homepage - During the American Civil War, the 69th Pennsylvania Volunteer Regiment was involved in almost every battle and campaign in the Eastern Theatre. This heroic regiment, composed largely of Irish-Americans was formed in 1861 and mustered out at the end of the war in 1865.
