Meet Andrew Diamond, D.M.D., M.S.
Dr. Andrew Diamond received his dental degree at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine in 2002, where he was the recipient of the Quintessence Award for Excellence in Periodontics through Quintessence Magazine.
Dr. Diamond then went on to complete his specialty training at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2005, where he excelled in all facets of Periodontics and developed a keen interest in Dental Implants, as well as Cosmetic Oral Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. During the course of his training at the University of Maryland, Dr. Diamond obtained both a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology as well as a Certificate in Periodontics. In addition, Dr. Diamond was a periodontal clinical instructor from 2004 to 2005 at the University of Maryland. He is currently a part-time clinical instructor at the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine. Dr. Diamond recently became “board eligible” and is pursuing board certification, Diplomate status of the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Diamond is originally from Long Island, NY and is married to Shiri Diamond, who is currently a part-time speech language pathologist. They recently celebrated the birth of their first child in April, 2005. He is an avid skier and enjoys golf, hiking, music, art and traveling.
